Homemade chocolate almond butter spread

My wife Jill put her healthy alternative twist on this fan favorite. Try it the next time you need a little something sweet. And don’t feel guilty either.

 

Homemade Chocolate Almond Butter Spread

 

1 large container of almond butter (freshly ground is best)

1 1/2 cups coconut milk

1/2 cup of sugar replacement (we use Xylo Sweet – xylitol-based replacement)

1/2 cup of cocoa powder

 

Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix with electric mixer. Let chill in the fridge for a few hours and then enjoy anyway you like. We dip apple slices in ours. Might look like poo, but tastes fabulous!

 

Boom…done!
